God Loves You & Gave You Power - An Interview with Author & Prophet, Frank Sasso
by Rev. Terrence G. Clark
Frank Sasso was raised catholic and remembers going to the local billiard hall on Sundays to play video games with his brother when they were supposed to be at church. They would go to church, get the bulletin, and leave. Frank would memorize the first few paragraphs of the topic for that week just in case he was quizzed when he got home from "church". It wasn't until 1996, at an Amway meeting, (of all things) with his wife, Christina, that Frank would give his life to Jesus Christ from an altar given at the meeting. Since then, Frank has grown, more and more, into his calling as a prophet of God as well as a husband, a teacher, a lover of people, and a friend. His purpose is to "...Make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, and teaching people to obey everything Jesus has commanded them." Frank Sasso has an interesting background. He’s an animator, cartoonist, businessman, marketer, and former mixed martial arts fighter. Amongst other things - he hears God talking. Not just in a metaphoric way, he actually hears the audible voice of the Lord. Some may called this peculiar, but Frank actually encourages every believer to have this intimate relation with the God of the Bible. His book, "God Loves You & Gave You Power" as well as the Kindle version of the same titled, "The Believers Position On Righteousness and Authority" is a journal & manual that reveals not a different teaching, but encourages a biblical personal relationship with the Heavenly Father. I recently interviewed him on the topic of his book.
Vof1: Why did you write the book?
Frank: Well, it's funny. The Lord started talking to me and I just started writing stuff down. It was a 6 month conversation and, again, I was just journaling all of it. I didn't know I was even writing a book. So, now I know that I'm able to write a book...as long as I don't know I'm writing one.
Vof1: So, briefly, what is Righteousness?
Frank: Righteousness means that because of the redemptive work Jesus did on the cross, you are in right standing with God. God's relationship with man has been restored. The sin of Adam (mankind) put a barrier between God and man, and Jesus (Godkind) removed it by paying for that sin when we (mankind) couldn't. When a person understands their Righteousness in God, it opens the door to the fullness of their redemption in Jesus Christ in their life.
Vof1: What is your personally story with this issue on Righteousness?
Frank: Ever since we got saved, we've been told that we were the Righteousness of God, but I never had a clear rock solid revelation of that until a few years ago. I had been hearing the audible voice of God for approximately 8 years and then one day ...nothing. Since I had made "hearing from God" my identity, suddenly, I had NO identity! I mean, THAT'S who I was. I was the guy that could "hear God's voice". AND I MEAN AUDIBLY! LIKE YOU HEAR A FRIEND TALK TO YOU! 3 years went by without hearing God, so I wrapped myself up in working out at the gym (the gym guy), saturating myself in business (the business guy), doing stuff at church (the church guy), and I was barely the HUSBAND guy and I was a looong, long way off from being the Righteousness of God (guy). I took on 3 other identities to replace the 1 true identity. Bad went to worse, until it was explained to me and my wife, Christina, why God had stopped talking the way He used to in relation to me. It was because I had let my anointing become who I was and as a result, it shut my wife out from her being able to flourish in her giftings and being able to minister together as a team, and it was impossible for God to be able to build upon a narrow structure like me until I started loving Him, loving Christina, and loving His people. Shortly after I made the decision to do just that, God started talking to me again, I got the revelation of my identity in Him, my identity as a husband to Christina and we've had an entire turnaround in our life ever since then.

Vof1: You talk a lot about your conversation with God like He's right there? How is that possible?
Frank: God now lives in me because I've been made the Righteousness of God through Jesus. He IS right there! Vof1: Keith Axsom, in the forward of the book, called you a prophet. What does that mean? Frank: Simply put, a prophet is a man or woman who God uses to speak through. Vof1: Isn't declaring Righteousness a little bold or even egotistical? I thought Christians were supposed to be humble? |
Frank: Actually, it's a LOT bold and yet it's the highest form of humility. That what God says I am, I SAY I AM! In no way is it egotistical, conceited, or self-centered, because for it to be egotistical, conceited, or self-centered, it would require my own effort being involved. I have done nothing to earn or deserve being made Righteous. (Ephesians 2:8-9) It was a gift. As a matter of fact, the only thing I "boast" about, is that I know Him! (Jeremiah 9:23-24 and 1 Corinthians 1:31)
Vof1: Does it really make a difference if a Christian wants to take the "sinner saved by grace" position?
Frank: Absolutely. The believer that sees themself as "just an old sinner saved by grace" is a believer who struggles with their Righteousness. That position is 1 of 2 things. 1) Ignorance of the Word or 2) False Humility. YOU did nothing to become Righteous except receive it. That's the ONLY thing YOU did. You received it. If you're always focused on the fact that you ARE a sinner, you'll always be focused on sin and you won't exercise your rights as the Righteousness of God, to move on from that fact and step into your purpose. Sin will be what you're focused on and, like my brother Tim McDonald always says, "What you focus on, gets BIGGER!" That believer is still saved and going to Heaven, but satan (little "s" on purpose) can make their time on earth into a nightmare.
Vof1: What can I expect from reading your book?
Frank: You can expect to walk away with a much better understanding of your position in Righteousness and Authority. You will find out just who you are and, as a result of that revelation, you will find out what you can now do.

Vof1: What do you believe God wants the reader to take away from this book?
Frank: I only say what I hear the Father say. So, see the previous answer. LOL!
Vof1: Have you had opposition from voicing this viewpoint? It may not be popular?
Frank: Oh, sure. My wife and I got kicked out of a church we were part of for 7 years, mostly because of this book. I was told it was a bunch of "demonic crap" by church leaders, We've been kicked out of a second church 7 months later, I've been arrested, my wife and I were falsely accused of outrageous behavior from family members, the list goes on. Religious people and satan (again, small "s" on purpose) do NOT want people getting a revelation from the material in this book.
Vof1: I got a general idea from your book, but what is your personal relationship with God? Who is Jesus Christ in your life?
Frank: He's the owner of my heart. He's the lover of my soul. He's is my "balm of Iliad". He's the first one I start my day with. He's the first one I look to for guidance.
Really? Who is Jesus in my life? Jesus is my BEST friend.
